Thalassery is a small but vibrant town on the coast of the Arabian Sea in Kannur district of Kerala. This heritage town, loaded with history, is one of the earliest English settlements in Kerala right from the time of the English East India Company. Thallassery earlierly known as Tellicherry is one of the oldest British settlements in India.

This historic town is located 21 km from Kannur in north Kerala. Blessed with abundant natural beauty, the place comprises of many beautiful small hills, rivers and a number of breathtaking cliffs along with an amazing long coastline. Thalassery Beach lies 22 kilometers from Kannur.
